A most interesting 18th century gilt gesso mirror with the original gilding and unusual original shaped bevelled plate, having broken arched swan pediment centred by a foliate cartouche, the frame flanked at each corner by a winged putto, and having a shaped apron centred by an inverted scallop shell, with two later brass candle arms. Note: The mirror plate is probably of an earlier date and has been reused for this mirror, hence the unusual composition.
