A fine early 18th century carved walnut wing armchair, the shaped back, out scrolled-arms and seat and cushion upholstered in period French gros-point floral needlework worked in blues, reds and yellow against a dark blue ground, the chair rail centred by a carved foliate clasp and the whole raised on cabriole legs with acanthus carving to the knees terminating in claw and ball feet.
