Note: The claw feet have been restored.
The chairs originally had two companion pairs and a matching settee, which were sold separately in the Rovensky sale in 1957. The entire suite was upholstered in the same fine early English needlework. The needlework is probably original to the suite, but was produced some 25 years earlier.
