A pair of Irish George III sycamore satinwood and marquetry side tables attributed to William Moore of Dublin.

A commode with very similar inlay bearing an ivory label stating it was ‘made by William Moore of Dublin for the third Duke of Portland in 1782, when he was Viceroy of Ireland’ was formerly in the collection of the Duke of Portland. Furthermore a commode with similar inlay is at Corsham Court in Wiltshire, where a bill from Moore dated 1772 survives.
