Having spent some 50 years in different collections with one being across the Atlantic these two chairs are for once re-united again. Both chairs were originally retailed by Mallett & Son in the late 1940s and were for some reason sold separately. It is very pleasing to bring this pair together again.
Provenance
Mallett & Son Ltd., London, England;
Private collection, England. (one chair)
Collection of David Rockefeller, New York, USA. (the companion chair)
